Is water a source of nutrients?

No, and the amount of minerals contained in the water is of no great importance to our electrolyte balance. The only exception is healing waters, which can only be drunk under the supervision of a doctor. However, it turns out that basing the diet on chemically pure water (demineralized, distilled) causes disturbances in the metabolic processes of our body. Nothing unusual, after all, we are part of nature. And in nature, water never occurs in a chemically pure form, just like any other natural raw material.
